- i'm still alive! -

Yeah, so, it looks like I missed Monday's Quick Recipe of the Week post huh?...I am still alive and kicking... but you know how it goes this time of year...the holidays are quickly approaching and I have not done ONE thing as far as Christmas preparation goes. No, seriously, I'm not kidding...not one gift wrapped, the holiday dinner we are hosting at our house on Christmas eve with a bunch of our friends has not even been planned yet, the majority of our Christmas gifts have not been purchased even yet...sigh.

And, as usual, the little one has not been sleeping...at all. The melatonin seems to be a fail after a 2 week trial. So, I have a grouchy, tired toddler, and I can barely keep my eyes open some days...so alas, Monday's post was skipped (were those good enough excuses?? Hope so! ha ha!)

On a positive note...we got a little help with the yard work...thanks Ellie! Keep up the good work...such a useful child we have! :-)

Hahaha I love the video! The best part is seeing her do yard work in a dress :) Such a girly girl!!

I'm with you on the lack of Christmas around here! I did decorate already, but have yet to buy one gift. We're staying here on the island for Christmas, so i kind of feel Scrooge-ish ;) Bah humbug. haha not really, I do hope to get in the Christmas spirit soon!

Love ya, mama! xo

I'm just so glad I can follow you through instagram because I'm never on the computer these days anyway! In case you're wondering... I'm sad I still have a baby in my. I just want her in my ARMS for crying out loud... ha ha!
Gosh, I hope Ellie starts sleeping asap! That is crazy that she has such a hard time :(

I'm so sorry to read that the melatonin supplement doesn't seem to be helping! ::sigh:: I'll be thinking about you, and hoping that a solution is on its way.

I haven't wrapped a single gift, myself. And both Tim and I are feeling very ho-hum about buying gifts this year ... in some ways, it just seems so wasteful. We bought Maile two nice gifts, but other than that, we're trying to focus on slowing down, and enjoying the Season.

Ellie is adorable. Whenever I'm having a hard day with Maile, I have a couple of videos of her that I fall back on watching, to remind myself that even when I feel I've reached my limit, I LOVE her SO much. This looks like one of those videos! :)
