I have a trillion balls in the air right now. I swear, I always take on too much, and then regret it later as I am swimming in millions of "to do" lists...okay, okay, maybe I am exaggerating just a little with the trillions and millions, but I swear that's what it feels like right now.
My problem? I just have to focus!

Why is this so hard for me to do you ask? Usually, it's because I sit down in front of my laptop and get sucked into hours of browsing instead of doing what I should be focusing on...sigh... seriously! It's the best tool ever, but also my worst enemy. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that anything & everything is available at my finger tips as soon as I open my laptop. So anytime I sit down to quickly check something out on the internet, I get sucked into the world wide web, and I just can't seem to get out! I know there's any easy solution...just shut the lap top...or even better, don't even open it in the first place! Easier said than done, huh?
I'm gonna start right now though...by closing my laptop. I have so many other things to get done! Signing off for now friends! It's time for me to go focus!

I have been thinking the EXACT same thing lately. This computer can just suck me in when there are a million other things I should be doing & even WANT to be doing. Good luck!
it's really hard though when some of the things you need to do are on the laptop. That is my problem. I open it to do some kind of necessary work and end up browsing the web instead.
Girl, I have the same problem. Damn the Internet. If only I didn't love it so much...good luck focusing :)
Oh girrrl! You know I have the same dilemma. I almost didn't leave you a comment because it might take ways fro your focusing... then you blog sucked me in... sorry couldn't help it. We'll both work on it?!
I've heard setting certain times to jump online works for some people... yah... I don't see myself sticking w/ that one!
I think we all get sucked in and one point or another, and lose that focus. Its easy to do :)
You are not alone sometimes I have to literally hide the laptop!! Good luck focusing!!
It is so nice and such a pain to have the world at your finger tips... any thought can be searched and found. I take a entire day off at least once a week. It good to get away. Happy focussing.
I think we are in the same boat Kyna. I can relate to the fact that the internet is our best friend and our worst enemy. It gives us all the information we need. At the same time, the overloaded stuff it provides is enough to divert our attention.
It's so true but I need my computer to study so it's a bit hard to focus!!! :)
