- bedtime battles -
Isn't funny how some kids fight sleep so much...they hate napping, they have no interest in going to bed. They battle it every.single.night. (Hmmm, sounds like a certain toddler that I know!) But as you get older...all you want to do is get a good night's sleep. I would LOVE to take a nap each day...and if only I didn't have a million things that I need (and want) to accomplish each night, I would gladly climb into bed at 7:30 p.m. and not budge until 7:30 a.m. I mean twelve hours of sleep each night? Heaven!!
Ellie is only 3, but I can already find myself turning into my parents...telling her the same things they told me when I was little...telling her that she is going to wish she could sleep and nap when she is older...that she will absolutely love her bed, and love the time of day that she can finally sink into it and catch some shut eye...of course, she looks at me like I'm crazy, and tells me in the best toddler voice "But momma, I don't like to sleep"...oh baby, if you only knew...one day you will be begging to be able to sleep half the day!

omg that pictures is beyond beautiful. just wow.
And yeah, I remember as a kid hating sleep and now I want it ALLTHETIME.
Funny how things change.
My heart literally felt like it skipped a beat when I saw that photo, hon!! Oh my goodness. One of my fave photos EVER that you have taken!
I hear ya on those sleep issues... Cruz has started some not so fun habits that I'm not a fan of.. I don't understand why kids just don't want to sleep?? I LOVE TO SLEEP!! haha

My daughter loves her sleep and I hope it doesn't change. She is only 2 and sleeps 12 hours a night plus a 2 hour nap.
Okay, I can't reply to it, but she's also one of my favorite "Blogger friends", so Andrea up there! I thought exactly. the same. thing.
GORGEOUS photo! Please put that up in your house immediately.
HA, I can so relate to this as my 9-month old cries himself to sleep! Why do they hate it so much?
