- be positive -

I seriously dislike being around people who are negative all the time. It drives me crazy, and brings me down. I happen to work with one of the most negative people I have ever met. And I can't even begin to tell you how much it affects me on a daily basis. As hard as I try to not let her get to me, I work very closely with her, and I happen to be her supervisor as well, so it's not that easy to just ignore her horrible attitude.

I'm not going to pretend my life is rosey all the time. I'm also not going to pretend that I am always upbeat and positive. But I like to think that most days I am in a cheerful mood and have a smile on my face. It really just makes life so much better when you are smiling and positive!

So today, I just want to remind everyone to smile, and be positive! People will like you more, and you will truly be happier inside!

Ah isn't it crazy how someone can get under your skin like that? I hate when that happens! Good luck today! I hope she is somewhat positive. =)

What a wonderful reminder. I feel like In a workplace negative attitudes can quickly darken your day. Stay positive, hopefully it'll rub off on her :)

I am so sorry mama, this is just sucky! IUf anyone can get this lovely perso to see the light though it is you. Just pretend she's some funny negative cartoon character, & she's not really real! Hahaa... I have no idea where that came from? But hey, it's worth a shot! Lol)

LOVE you BBF. Xo

This is something I've realized about work- there is always going to be people who refuse to see the good stuff. It even happens with some women I know who are stay-at-home moms.
No matter what your job is (and in this case I am including sahm a job) there is always going to be something hard. That's why it's called "work." Our job is to smile and still do our best because in most cases you have WAY more to be grateful for than to be grumpy for.

What great advise!!! I don't claim to be happy and positive all the time either. I know the 'kind' of people you are talking about exactly. They do just have a way of ruining your mood. And I have learned that I am better off seperating myself from these kind of people. I'm so sorry you have to face this everyday!!! Having to work with someone who is that way would totally suck. I hope things somehow magically get better for you!

i couldn't agree with you more, hon! It's so draining being around so much negativity all the time. Here's to you keeping that smile on your beautiful face, and hopefully making a difference in her life at the same time! Maybe she's got something difficult going on in her personal life and it somehow comes out in negativity towards other people. I hope things get better for you! xoxo

i love that quote...it is so true. When I am down I try not to bring others down with me...I can't stand people who are constantly negative!
