- strawberry fields forever -
We've been making some progress on our summer bucket list! Just a few things have been crossed off the list so far, but it's been fun, and I can't wait to tackle a few more!
The homemade sangria was kind of an easy one to cross off the list! I mean, who couldn't resist homemade sangria on a hot summer day? And the farmer's market and hiking were both pretty easy to get to, and very fun! I am sure we will frequent the farmer's market quite a bit in the next few months! It's become one of our favorite things to do on a Sunday morning in the summer time!
And the strawberry picking was awesome! I am so glad we managed to squeeze it in last week because the strawberry fields were pretty close to closing for the season. Turns out most of the strawberries were sour and not ripe because we got the last of the crop...but it was all about the experience anyway. And Ellie loved it! She kept calling it our "adventure"...
We went home with a gigantic container of "mostly sour" strawberries, very dirty shoes, a tired, happy, strawberry stained toddler, and a great summer memory!

love the photos! so weird but you & i have like identical summer bucket lists :)(http://mummascorner.blogspot.com/2012/06/summer-chicago-bucket-list.html) had to post a comment! Always loving your blog & your sweet little girl :) xx
I love picking strawberries! Too bad they were sour!
I'm shocked you found as many strawberries as you did! My friends and I went about 3 weeks ago, and found next to one at all. The ones we did find were delicious though - I'm ruined for store-bought strawberries, now.

What a fun list, I want to make one now!
Awww, I love strawberry picking. I have such find memories of doing it as a child. In fact I was only saying the other day that I can't wait to take my little guy strawberry picking next summer when he's big enough to understand.
Absolutely gorgeous photos. You've got to love strawberry stained faces. X
Yay! Strawberry picking!!! Your picture in the garden with your little one is so priceless. I love it! And the picture of her Toms shoes could make it as a great advertisment for Toms.
Btw, what effects did you make with your pictures? May I know? Thanks. Care to share in a blog post?
Have a great day!

Kindergarden is a pre school program in Australia, and it sucks that they have to be potty trained first!
